Is Beacon Square Civic Association a Home Owners Association (HOA)?

No. Beacon Square Civic Association (BSCA), a 501c4 not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in and around the Beacon Square neighborhood. We are a community-driven organization, comprised of dedicated volunteer members, who strive to create a welcoming environment that fosters connection, celebration, and friendship. Through providing a gathering place, we aim to strengthen community bonds, facilitate meaningful interactions, and contribute to the overall well-being of our neighborhood.

Do you have to be a member to rent the Hall?

No. Anyone can rent the hall.

How many people can the hall accommodate?

We have chairs for 150 people and the facilities can handle up to 200. We can also accommodate small groups.

How do you charge for the hall?

Hourly with different pricing based on the size of the event. Please contact us for details.

Can I pay monthly instead of yearly for membership?

Unfortunately, at this time we do not accept monthly payments.

Are kids allowed to go to the pool without an adult?

No. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult member.

Am I allowed to have a party at the Tiki Hut?

Yes. Small gatherings are allowed at the Tiki Hut. It is first come, first serve.

Are pool floats allowed at the pool?

Yes, small personal floats are allowed at the pool.

Is alcohol allowed in the pool area?

Yes, we just ask you keep it reasonable and no glass allowed.

Is the pool heated?

Yes. It is heated and cooled depending on the season. The goal is to maintain 83 degrees.

What hours is the pool open?

The pool is available for members from 7am to dusk.
